MiniMASS is the NGO, sister organization of the studio, established in March 2012, that is built around the same people and the same ideas of collaboration. We have noticed that a superficial look over the Romanian urban environment shows a crisis of identity and of possibilities for civilised cohabitation, while dedicated and specialised research can actually provide solutions, on low- or large-scale, with immediate or long-term effects. This pursuit fits into a general tendency, still in it’s early stages, of urban civic activism and the promotion of this spirit. Thus, we aim to collaborate with other institutions (associations and design studios) with the same affinities, from Romania and abroad.
